My photography journey began in 2002, when I was just a young girl in elementary school. I still remember the moment clearly — I won 2nd place in a photojournalism contest using an old analog SLR camera borrowed from my school. It was my very first time holding a real camera, and the experience felt nothing short of magical. From that moment on, something inside me awakened — a spark, a calling.

I became obsessed with capturing the world through a lens, fascinated by the patience it took to wait for the perfect shot and the joy of discovering stories hidden in everyday moments. I would buy rolls of film and eagerly explore, learning not just how to take pictures, but how to truly see.

Photography didn’t feel like a hobby or a job — it felt like my purpose. Over the years, this passion grew deeper and more real. I’ve been fortunate to expand my craft through international fine art workshops and courses, developing a style that feels authentic to who I am: thoughtful, emotive, and intentional.

My work as a Master Photographer for Holland America Line and Carnival Cruise Line taught me to embrace change, to tell stories in dynamic environments, and to connect with people from all walks of life. Every portrait, every candid moment I capture is a gift — a chance to preserve a piece of someone’s story forever.

For me, photography isn’t just about pictures. It’s about honoring life’s beautiful, fleeting moments and creating memories that will live on long after the shutter clicks. This is not just what I do — it’s who I am. It’s my calling.
